The Pledge of Alligance

At my school there are a good amount of things that bother me. But two things I cannot tolerate is that we do not say the our nations Pledge and that not all the classrooms have an American flag in them. And since last year I have made a petition to get them both back in the high school. I have the support of Charlie Daniels, Sen. John Kerry, and 321 other people who have signed my petition.

I have also meet Mr. Tedesco who is trying to get the Pledge back in his child's elementary school! And he's not the only one. I believe a women in Maine is also doing this and who knows how many others in this country are fighting to keep the Pledge in.

I ask all to check your child's schools and see if they recite the Pledge or if all the classrooms have American Flags. We must stand up and fight, for to long has this been going on and it ends here. As John McCain said "Nothing is inevitable here, stand up!"

Yes Men

In my town I think I got a good outlook on the political views:

Democrates- 70%

Repbulicans- 10%

Third Party- 3%

Yes Men-17%


Saddly the Yes Men seem to be the majority in my High School. For those that don't know what a Yes Men is, it's a person who follows the crowd. For example in one of my classes I asked a kid who he wanted for president, he said Obama and I asked why and he didn't know I then asked him what he agreed and disagreed and it seems he agrees with McCain more than he does Obama. That is a yes man.

And this peron isn't the only one like this many in my school just want Obama in because he's a democrate, black, or supposidly wants to legalize marajuana. Is this what the futer of America is? I hope to the Lord Almighty that it's not. I just hope these people learn a little come election time.

Sherman Pore's new CD

For those who don't remember, Sherman Pore was a 64 year old man who made a petition to have a chance to get on American Idol. His reason for doing was for his wife who was in the hospital for cancer, and to keep her mind off of the cancer and cheer her up. But sadly two days before the audition started Sherman's wife passed away though he was still determined to do this for his love. So when Sherman auditioned he sang the song "You Belong to me" and Dedicated it to his wife.

Now since then Sherman has made a CD featuring not only you belong to me but 9 other classic songs. The CD is called "For My Lady Love" and is dedicated to his late wife. When I found out Sherman made a CD I went on iTunes to buy a song from the album. The song I bought was one of the best I have ever heard. I will soon buy a copy of the CD on Walmarts online store.
